Hey all, first poster here. I've been using this macbook (original, probably early 2007. it was a hand-me-down) for a while and i tried to boot it up recently and nothing happened. I need the data off the hdd, but don't know how to get it off. the hdd makes no noise, and it seems like the computer is just dead.
I read somewhere that if you use ubuntu, you can take out the hdd and use a hdd to usb adapter and grab your files off like that. would that work in this scenario or is the hdd just plain dead? any help is greatly appreciated!! |
