Sorry if this is not the right forum, but I've been seraching with no success and the doubt is: in Windows, you can right-click somewhere for example on the desktop, create a new folder, open it and on the address bar write something like ftp://server.domain.com, be prompted for a password etc, etc. (Why this? I have a Linksys NSLU2 network storage link with photos, and using the http protocol in an Internet browser I can see the photo names, but I have to click on each name to see the photos. Using the above method, I can see the photos remotely as if I were in the local home network).
Now the question: How can I do a similar thing in Mac? Thanks for any hints. |

You need to add the password and username in to the address to get the OS X finder to connect to an FTP server
ftp://username:password@server.domain.com |
