hi!

anyone know how to fix this?

i've a mac pro and my desktop has disappeared,
when i go into finder it's there with all my desktop files
but there are no icons on my desktop - even my HD icon
is missing? All my files are still there but i'm worried
everythings going to collapse? Especially because my
internet is being really slow? and the connection is fine?
Any help (or directions if i'm not in the right forum) would
be really appreciated?

thanks!

Do you have a menu bar? If so select Force Quit and relaunch the Finder.
