Did you try to use the Boot Camp assistant from OS X? Just select create partition, then select restore. If it refuses to restore the drive back to 100 % OS X, you'll have to use Disk Utility.
Boot with your Leopard install DVD disk one and select Disk Utility from the menu. Highlight the Boot Camp partition (Ubuntu) and select erase. You should then be able to merge the now erased partition into the remainder of the Macintosh HD. DO NOT erase or format your Macintosh HD! I suggest making a complete backup of everything before you start. Use Time Machine or some other backup program. Regards. |
