Hi

I was wondering if it was possible to copy the entire OS 10.5 (HD) from my iBook to my Mac Mini over firewire? I want to do this so that I get leopard onto Mac Mini. Any help much appreciated, thanks.

You could try but you cannot just copy the system over, only Apps like Super Duper can copy over a bootable system. Having said that the system from your iBook will most likely not boot your mini. You really need to get a copy of Leopard and do it that ay to make sure the system works and is stable

First thing you can not just copy OSX over from one computer to another and expect it to work or boot. It has to be Installed.

Secondly, the copy of 10.5 Leopard that you have on your iBook, Is it a Single License version or a Family Pack? If Single License then you can not legally have it on more than one machine at a time.

And a third point. If the Mini is a newer Intel Mini, the OS on the iBook is for Power PC and would never work on an Intel Mac anyway.
