I did not see a post for this...

Does anyone know how to mount a drive upon login WITHOUT the finder opening the window when you login? I just want the user to log in, and have that share mounted. But i dont know how to do that without that finder deciding that i want to look at it right away.

Thanks in advance!

I usually manually mount the share being sure to use keychain checkbox. I will create a folder in Documents called Network then create an alias of the mount point(s) from the /Volumes directory and drag them into the Network directory. Lastly I drag the Network directory into the right side of the dock.

Not perfect, but simple.
