MacBook - Recovering deleted photos.

I have a macbook and I accidentally deleted some pictures and I emptied the recycle bin. Is there any possible way to get these pictures back? I would really really appreciate any help! Thank you!

Do you happen to backup your Mac using Time Machine?

No. I deleted the pictures a few months ago.

I know on a PC you can go back to a certain date and it will have everything the same as it was that date. Can you do that on a MAC? I just really need those pictures back.
