Dear members, I need some advice please. I purchased a imac this past june 08 and I need some advice on removing cache files performing repair permissions( if thats needed now ) and ways to prevent a disaster. Articles etc. Members you have done a fine job of helping people here.

Mac Specs: 2008 and 2011 15" mbps, late 11 iMac, iPhone 4s, and too many ipods and other stuff

There is no need to 'repair permissions' unless you're experiencing problems.
