    Best way to backup?
    Hello all,

I would like to backup certain files and folders, including if possible configuration and settings files.

Is this possible in OS X?
What's the best application for doing this?

Best way is using an external drive, firewire and SuperDuper.

There have been many, many discussions about this in the short time I have been hanging out here, some of which are really helpful. You should do a couple of searches here, I think you will get a ton of information.
