ok so i got my new macbook, its very nice, but i used the migration thing today it all seemed to go ok but. i can't find any of my tunes or pics anywhere on the new one. does it put them all somewhere as ive looked about and nothing, well a few applications like limewire and that. i thought it was meant to transfer all ya pics into iphoto, tunes to itunes and such like. any ideas pls. it took 2hrs nearly and at the end it said all files, folders and applications transfered successfully so im confused here, cheers

You migrated from another mac?

It should have migrated the files, the music should be in Music > Itunes, I dont know if it updates the itunes library as well, if you can find the tunes then you can add them in to iTunes manually

Like wise, photos should be in Pictures > iPhoto Library

But also, Migration Assistant may have moved your whole user over to that new mac, if the user account names are different, all of your files will be in that separate user folder
