ok so my internal cd drive has been dead, now my hard drive failed. i bought a new macbook pro, but i'd still like to salvage the old ibook. i bought a new hard drive for the ibook, and an external firewire drive. i have been trying to boot tiger from the firewire drive but it has not been working. i put the tiger disk in my macbook, created a new image, and restored it to the firewire, after making partitions, and tried to boot the ibook while holding command+shift+option+delete and i tried holding option, but it doesnt i still get the finder icon with the question mark when i try to boot
any suggestions? |
