OS 10.4 - E-mail re-set

I haven't used my Mac Mail in a long time, cause it keeps asking me for a password I cannot remember. I just wanna reset it somehow, and star all over again. Can anyone tell me how to do that? it's driving me crazy...

have a look in your keychain, it should be there

If that fails open Mail Preferences. go to Accounts and agt the bottom left hit the little '-' button to delete the account. Set up a new account and new password.
