OS 10.5 - need help in copying file to external HD

hey

i am new user in Mac i like it but i have some issue with it

i have my files in the external HD i copy it in my Mac

but when i need to copy file from the Lab to HD

mac refused and give the message the HD is protected and can't copy the file in it


and i can't also find the Save as ( in windows ) in Mac only i find save link

need your help

If the hard drive is formatted as NTFS you can not write to it from your Mac without the use of a third party utility. You can buy Paragon NTFS from

here: Paragon NTFS for MAC OS X - full read and write access to Windows NTFS partitions under Mac OS X

Or you can try the free NTFS 3G: NTFS-3G: Stable Read/Write NTFS Driver
