Hi,

I have a macbook and I have just bought a Belkin router and have put the setup disk in the drive. It says to open up the disk and click start.osx.

When I do this it just says 'There is no default application specified to open the document "start.osx"

Then offers me the choice to choose application.

What do I do? Please help me before I lose all my hair!

Thanks

I think Belkin have managed to create an OS X installer that doesn't work

Palm-Mac: Belkin G+MIMO wireless router and unsuccessful adventures

just plug it all in and see if your mac can see the router without Belkins help

Have you tried just connecting your Mac to the router and going to 192.168.1.1 (might be 192.168.2.1 for the Belkin)? I never use the "setup" discs that come with routers these days. Just do it manually.
