OS 10.5 - disc burner on itunes problem

Hi
Just tried to burn disc from an itunes playlist and the message "disc burner or software not found " just went and burned one from i photo so any ideas of what may be up ,since this is the first time i have tried to burn a disc since the new itunes download on my imac
