I updated my mbp to 10.5.5 about an hour ago and since then it has crashed 6 times already for no apparent reason. Am I the only one with this problem, or?

Another stain on the sidewalk.

Try downloading the standalone updater and running that, it may stabilise your mac

I agree with the above and remember to repair permissions then restart again.

I also found I had to repair the disk with Disk Utility off the DVD after the update but not sure if it was related.
