OS 10.5 - Windows/Mac Filepath Comparison

I have a filepath as follows in Windows that I need to type into a program in order for it to import into an SQL database.
"file://localhost\C:\Pics\100100.JPG"

What would be the Mac equivalent of something like that?
Any help would be appreciated!
