    IMac 2.8GHz Dualcore 24'' / 2GB SDRAM / Snow Leopard 10.6.1 / external HD LaCie 500Gb
    Crash and won't restart... fan going crazy
    The power PC crashed (with dark screen with the restart advice). When I tried to restart, the fans going nuts and it don't restart!!

    I'm on a Power PC tower running on tiger
    :cool: The day Microsoft makes something that doesn’t suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners... !

    iMac, i7 4GHz, 32GB memory, 1TB PCI-e storgae StOS X.13.3
    Pop your Tiger DVD in and boot holding down 'C' and see if it will boot from that. If so run Repair Disk, and if all is well, Apple Hardware Test. Maybe something has been corrupted and you will be looking at a re-install of Tiger.

    No new memory modules or hardxware fitted to cause the kernel panic attack?
