NOTE: Thread moved to appropriate forum. Not just anything goes in Anything Goes

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

The point of Spaces is to allow you to keep applications organized into specific "compartments" (a Space) and thus keep each of your desktops tidy and organized. Ever had the experience in Windows of having so many application Windows open at one time that you can figure out what is where? With Space, you can have multiple virtual desktops, with each containing a logically related set of applications. You always know where everything is, and clutter is reduced.

For example, I use four Spaces. One for iTunes, one for Web browsing, one for email and one for just Miscellaneous use. Each one of these desktops is clean and uncluttered and I never have any trouble "finding" any one application.

Hope that this helps.

My Macs: iMac 27" 3.4 GHz, 4 Core, Mac Pro, 3.2 GHz 8 Core, PowerMac G5 Quad, 2.5 GHz, G4 Cube, 1.2 GHz Upgrade
My iStuff: 32 GB iPhone 4, 30 GB iPod Video, 16 GB iPod Touch
My OS': Mac OS X Tiger, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Leopard, Mac OS 8.6, openSUSE 10.3, Win XP
