OS 10.5 - Mac won't detect my HD

Member Since: May 12, 2008 Posts: 3	09-10-2008, 10:12 PM I have 500Gb external HD which I have had for a year, the power light is on and now my Mac won't recognize it. I have tried to turn the HD off and on and it will just not register. I need help on this, it won't even show up under disk utility
