I'm sure this is a huge topic, but I am running a Linksys WRT54G Wireless router. I have three computers connected to it. One hard wired to it(Windows XP) and two connected wirelessly. (One a Mac OS 10.5, one Windows XP)
My Hard wired computer has two printers connected to it. One a colored printer and the other a fax/printer combo. My wireless Windows can share both these printers with no problems at all! My Mac can not... One problem that should be fixed first is actually finding the computer on the network. I can connect to my wireless Windows computer through the router just fine.(Even know that I can only see the shared folders...) When i try connecting to the hardwired Windows on the router i.e. - Command K, It tells me the server may not exist. I know this is kind of off topic, meaning I am bringing up a Windows issue. But help would be greatly appreciated! Last edited by tecra134; 08-30-2008 at 12:20 AM. |
