As the title says, two days ago, I did a reinstall, ever since then we cannot get my black Macbook to connect to our linksys router. Each time we try, we get the following error:

"There was an error joining the AirPort network"

I am at my wits end; the new semester just started and I need web access! Is there anyone who can make a suggestion? btw: it's 10.4.11 and an intel mac

What encryption are you using on your router? WEP? WPA? WPA2? If WEP 128-Bit Hex?

first make sure your wireless router is has no any problem , after that check your black macbook wireless...if both of them has no any problem you may check the internet connections....or you can contact your internet service provider too....
