be a mere software upgrade to leopard, or an actual new os (with an extravagant launch and all the hoopla of leopard)? i want to get leopard now, but i can wait a couple months if something huge is around the corner.

It'll be a new OS.... 10.6. Not sure when it is due though.

Yep, the comment was made that it could be as early as January of 2009. That would be amazing!

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
