OS 10.5 - How to add fonts? .ttf

how do i add fonts to my osx safari fonts? I have the .ttf's.

if you double click on a TTF it should open up FontBook and give you the option to install the font to the system

oh right thanks v much thats worked great.

And this is very random but does anyone have any advice on how to learn to read music.
