Hello. I have an semi-important inquiry. I have accidentally deleted some files, but luckily, they are still on my other account. (I use another account in case my first ever has a problem). But I was wondering this... How did they get to the other account in the first place? Is there a way I can transfer files and folders over between accounts?

The same goes for downloads. If I download a program from the internet, is there a way to "share" the file/ download between users?

Thanks

You may have simply dragged and dropped to the wrong folder. Easy enough to do.

Well if you download a program to be used by all users, then put it in /Applications. If you have personal files you want to share, then in your Home folder, there's a folder named "Public". Just drop what you want to share with others in there. All the other users have to do is navigate there themselves. I have an alias to my wife's public folder on my sidebar for simplicity, and vice-versa.

Standing request for all troubleshooting: Please provide your Mac model/year and OS version. Also advise us if you have used or installed any antivirus, security, or "cleaning" software on your Mac. If you have installed MacKeeper in particular, you are hereby advised to uninstall it.
