I know this is a long shot at best, but maybe someone can help me out.
I am trying to run a HVAC control software that uses Java jre 1.3.1_15 (newer versions do not work) in IE (yea internet explorer). It is a pain on a PC because I can not upgrade my java or this program will not work. Now, is there a way to tell IE to use ONLY the jre 1.3.1_15? Obviously I don;t use IE for anything else on my Mac, so I could restrict the program to do what I need to. I can get to the opening page, but nothing happens after that. is this possible? or am I stuck with PC only? This one goes out to all the old school guys, cause this is dealing with some OLD software versions. Thanks |
