I know this is a long shot at best, but maybe someone can help me out.

I am trying to run a HVAC control software that uses Java jre 1.3.1_15 (newer versions do not work) in IE (yea internet explorer). It is a pain on a PC because I can not upgrade my java or this program will not work.

Now, is there a way to tell IE to use ONLY the jre 1.3.1_15? Obviously I don;t use IE for anything else on my Mac, so I could restrict the program to do what I need to.

I can get to the opening page, but nothing happens after that.

is this possible? or am I stuck with PC only?

This one goes out to all the old school guys, cause this is dealing with some OLD software versions.

Thanks

Try specifying the runtime version in the /Applications/Utilities/Java/Java Preferences app
