My sister's children were visiting...I let them use my computer. They went home. My computer was acting screwy...I decided to clean things up...emptied trash. Now I realize a huge file is missing!!! YIKES...entirely gone! It must have been in the trash when I emptied it. Is there any way to get it back?

Thanks,
Linda

Big ask Linda without specialised recovery software which is pretty expensive.

Have a look at this link for some suggestions:-

Which file is missing? Maybe it can be replaced from your installation disk.

Regards.
