Hey everybody.
I've just got my shiny new imac but I'm not sure the best way to move all my apps, movies, pics, music etc over from my old imac. Is there any Software to make this an easy process or infact just what is the best way of doing it? Any help would be much appreciated. |

If both macs support Firewire, then connect both macs together using a firewire cable. Then boot the new imac in Target mode (press T key at boot item), then you can mount the hard disk on the old mac and then you can drag and drop files and most apps across. NB: Some apps such as Adobe or MS Office will need installing properly on the new mac.
