Recently while i was trying to update to 10.5.4 my software update somehow without having downloaded the complete file says it's completed the downloaded and thus it doesn't install from there. Does anyone know where maybe the temp downloaded file is stored so i can delete it and download it again?

If you are having difficulties, the best thing to do is manually download the combo update and run it from your desktop

Ah thats another thing you see. I'm from India so the speeds here aren't great and I've sorta been trying that for the last week or so but everytime I am downloading it the update either doesn't download properly or it fails to mount!! So it's been an extremely frustrating task.

if you have 10.5.3 you might try the incremental update, still ** meg but at least not the size of the combo update

can you download anything at work, college?
