OS 10.5 - font problem

hi
i have some fonts which I tried to open but they appeared in the preview window in Grey screen and with words"exec" and under is said:Unix Executable File
I know they are fonts for mac
could you please tell me how could I open then and why they are not apearing as normal fonts?
