iMac - Hello all......Help please?

Hi

Hope everyone is well!

I'm having a little problem with my mac after accidentally deleting the screensaver/desktop preference panes (dont ask!). I have recovered the files from the trash yet i'm unable to re-install them and therfore have lost the ability to change the screen saver and desktop background.

I have an intel imac running 10.4.

Any help with this rather unique problem would be gratefully appreciated!!

you should put them back in

System > Library > PreferencePanes

they should have names like filename.prefPane

Hey.

Yeah i've already tried that but they won't reinstall into system preferences properly so i cant use them.

Anyone else have nay ideas??

you may have to do a re-install from your restore disks

back-up first
