I have the PWS (Personal Web Sharing) option activated in the System Preference. I notice my Mac's user IP address changes to whatever nearby network's IP address is picked up by the Airport or connected to the Ethernet. The PWS only works when I am connected to a network. I was hoping if there is a way to use the PWS without being connected to a network? I would like to build database driven web sites offline.
