    Password protected zips
    How do we open them, I've downloaded some zips that are password protected from some media forums and upon opening it doesnt give me a chance to type in the password

    do you mean .zip(compressed) files? Ive never seen a zipped file with a password, are you just having trouble opening it?

    With Winzip (on windows) you can password protect files and its to keep people from leeching off their stuff and claiming it as yours.

    Ive seen password protected .rar files, but not zipped files, Im pretty sure you have to get the password from the person who originally pasword orotected it.
