I sent in my Macbook for repairs and when I sent it out it had Leopard intalled but when I got it back I only have Tiger. They restored my computer and I lost everything. Now after I reloaded all my files I want to upgrade back to Leopard. My question is this: Now that I have all my files back (mainly music), if I upgrade to Leopard, will I lose all my files? Thanks!

If you're using an upgrade disk, or doing an Archive and install with a full retail disk, then you should be fine.
As long as you're not doing an Erase and install, only the OS will be changed. When all else fails, try everything! The Rep System and you. Life's a joke...If you're not laughing, then you didn't get it. June 2008 |
