Hi guys, I been having a problem with and update. In the software update window it appears as Mac OS X Update conbined; 10.5.4; 560MB
The thing is that when it starts to install it just freezes. The window says that is preparing to install and............................. nothing. Half an hour and nothing. So I have to press the power button and when I turn it on again I uncheck the Install box in the software update.
Any ideas why this is happening?
This is the Mac in a few words:

How about repairing permissions, verify the disk and restarting before doing the update. This shouldn't be necessary but hey. Mine installed with no issues.
The update was downloaded and for some reason it didn't download correctly. So I connected the computer to a network and dowloded the whole thing again. 560 MB !! And that was it, it installed correctly and no more updates are requested from the software update panel.
