Hello,
Now I've used Mac OS X machines since I was around 11. Yes I understand that may show my age but oh well . Now as much as I love the new Macs I just can't begin to like Leopard. Snow Leopard isn't going to change my feelings either. I much prefer the older more "Aqua" look that Apple was going with. The new look is way too industrialized to me. Maybe professional is a better word but I just don't like it. Does anyone know if Apple is going to stay with this current look or go back to the nicer looking "Aqua" look? I know that Aqua is the GUI name but I'm referring to the blue apple, etc. I want to be the first person to say I love Apple. Some may even call me a fanboy but OS X Leopard just isn't for me.

I feel they finally started getting it right, there were too many inconsistencies with previous versions' UI

My lad it is part of maturing this wanting to change the world. Suggest this 'new look' is here for quite some time to come alas for you. Could be worse you could try Vista!

you could always try "modding" out your GUI, although ive heard its not a very good idea to do. im sure there is some program out there that lets you change the "look" so its more like the older OSs. would be fun to make it look like OS 8.6 or something.

I like it better than any other OS version. I didn't like all of the lines the menus, top bars, etc... the early OS X had that made it look like the ugly G4 Power Mac cases.
