Hey guys,

Just got my 2.5MHz MBP yesterday. Can you guys tell me how I can stop it from dimming the screen after only a few minutes of no activity?

I've gone into System Preferences/Power Saver. Didn't notice any setting for disabling "dim screen". Can we not set this?

Thanks.

System Preferences => Energy Saver => Options tab => Uncheck "Automatically reduce the brightness of the display before sleep".

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

Funny how obvious menus like "options" "magically" appear when some one else mentions it. Don't know why I missed it the first time. LOL!!

Thanks.

To be honest, it took me a minute to find it in Energy Saver too - I flipped back and forth between it and Display a few times, then realized that I had missed that Options tab.
