I have updates set to run weekly automatically. Can someone tell me if this will function when Mac is in sleep?
I notice there is an update from 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 but my update didn't happen.

Thanks

If I am correct, the computer will only run updates when it is turned on.

That is correct...

Neilf: Go to the apple menu at the top left of your screen and click "About this Mac"
If it says, "Mac OS X Version 10.5.3" then you are already updated...

If not, Go to the apple menu and click "Software Update..."
Your computer will check for updates and will show any updates available...

If that does not work, you may have to download the 10.5.3 update from apples website.

Even if it did, you would still need the admin password to get the install started.

Thank you one and all. I guess I don't do too much when I'm asleep either.
