OS 10.5 - Safari and Youtube

 I am having problems uploading videos on youtube from my mac... I just wanted to know if anyone knows whether I can upload a wmv video onto youtube from a mac.. ? Everytime that I try doing it, it just loads for hours and never actually uploads it.. Theoretically though, should I be able to upload a wmv file on youtube from a mac? |
