OS 10.5 - Tiger and Leopard! a middlephyte's dilemma
|
For reasons too sad to share, I now have Tiger on my external drive and Leopard on my internal.
What I’d like to do with my MacBook:
1) Transfer all functionality and data to the internal drive. (files, mail, mail folders, photos, etc.)
2) Use the external drive for back up using Timemachine.
Problems:
1) Have no install disks.
2) External drive is Tiger, internal drive is Leopard.
Any suggestions? Please be step by step...I'm a middlephyte.

I still don't understand what you're trying to accomplish. Perhaps I just don't understand the scenario.
Is it that you're wanting to upgrade your machine to Leopard, but you don't have the media? |

Use the Migration Assistant on your internal drive to import your user folders and data from the external drive. |
