OS 10.5 - preview vs acrobat reader

i recently downloaded abcrobat reader 8.1.2 and it asked if i wanted to make it the default reader so i said ok. although acrobat is working fine i'd like to change it back to make preview the default for safari 3.1.1. i've looked under the prefs for preview, a.r. and safari and see no option to select or change the default pdf reader. thanks in advance for any ideas.

Hi Arktoi, welcome to the forums!

I use a cool little free utility called "Default Apps" that lets me easily adjust the default application for each data type, including PDFs. Well worth the download.

Mac Specs: iMac 24" 2.4GHz 2GB RAM 320GB HD
app-free version: find a pdf, rightclick/ctrl click find open with..., scroll down to other, a choose application dialog will pop up, and select the application as well as the option to 'always open with'
