Hello. I am new here and I have an annoying problem with Leopard (OSX 10.5.2)
I have already posted this at the Apple Discussion forum but those "geniuses" can't give any solution/fix. So I thought I'd try here. If I save a file with an application (Logic in my case - Photoshop also does this) to the desktop, most of the time the file is and remains invisible until I refresh the desktop by relaunching Finder. I also had this problem with some Linux Distro (Fedora?). I am using the latest OSX 10.5.2 with all the latest updates and drivers. My computer is a MID 2007 iMac 24" with a 2.4ghz proc and 4GB of RAM. What can I do to fix this? Do I need to clear some cache files? I already have deleted the desktop and Finder plist files, to no avail. This is really really annoying because I have to go to the desktop folder or relaunch Finder for the files to show up and I bought the 24" model so I could use the entire big desktop as a "sketch pad". But it doesn't work! Thanks in advance. |
