ProLogic is on a distinguished road

I start up my computer, pop in the disc. I double click on the 'Install Mac OS X' icon. It prompts me with the 'Restart computer to continue installation' button. I click the Restart button. Restarts my computer, login screen prompts. I type in my password and login. Nothing happens. I click Restart again, same thing keeps on happening. What's the deal???
QUOTE Thanks

Helps if know what machine you are using and if the install DVD is not an upgrade disc nor a grey colored model specific system restore disc. Take it you are using the black colored full install disc and your machine meets Leopard specs?
QUOTE Thanks
