Hi guys Im having problems with Spaces, i set it up stating from System Pref, I tick the two boxes:Enable, and the Show spaces in menu bar. i then set up 4 boxes and add safari in box 1 and mail in box 2 I then set f5 to bring it up, I then go to plain desktop and press f5 and the 4 boxes come up but they are blank......any ideas to what im doing wrong?

You need to launch Safari and Mail for their windows to show up.

The 4 empty boxes you see are the 4 separate "desktops" you've configured with Spaces.

Thanks for that, I thought that after setting them up they stayed in the windows even after a reboot, I cant really see the point of the whole thing.

it is useful if you run a bunch of apps at one time so you can switch to them with out having them all open in one screen

Right-click the respective dock icons and select "open at login" if you want them to automatically launch when you restart your mac.
