OS 10.5 - ical server logging problems

got the ical leopard server going great...on the macs, i need to connect windows machines outlook to this calendar service,

am trying by using theopen connector project.....

i am havinhg authentication problems, if i view the page using a web browser, it asks for user name and password, on the mac side it accepts, on windows side it does not?? what do i need to do to get this swine to work?
