MacBook - Printing partial documents

I'm transitioning from Windows to Mac, using a MacBook with Leopard. When I bring up a document or web page, etc. to print, it calls it up in WORD but doesn't let me choose which page(s) to print. Inevitably, I wind up printing one last page with useless information on it. Is there a way I can specify what to print? TIA.

there is a little "down arrow" when you click print. click it, all settings for printing pop up, including page selecition...

(up arrow after clicked, to the right of "printer")
