Strange new error, Mac's MAIL app. Weirdness.

I'm having trouble with Mac's Mail app.

This error message comes up everytime I sign on for email.
(It just started happening out of the blue, after always working fine.)

OPEN
The mailbox in /Library/Mail/POP: myname@myaddress.net "Deleted
Messages in Box" is currently locked by "my name" on Host "my
names_computer. "LOCAL"

If you open, you may damage it's contents.

Any ideas?

Have you been deleting all old mail (Apple K) and spam? Running repair permissions can't hurt finder applications utilities disk utility select volume repair permissions
