OS 10.5 - MacBook Leopard USB dialup Major crashes;

just upgraded to leopard on my white macbook 2ghz/core duo. I've been using an apple external usb dial up modem that worked great under tiger. Now everytime I connect the usb modem and try and connect I can hear the dial tone and afterwards the system freezes completely to the point that I have to force switch the computer off and restart. The problem persists untill I unplug the usb modem and then restart os. I found many threads on several sites but not a fix mentioned. Have you guys any advice to give. Cheers. |
