OS X behind USA Voting?

I was watching Good Morning America this morning and they had a guy on who was talking about our voting system and the different ways us U.S. citizens can vote. He showed some sort of e-voting machine and when they showed the interface I could have sworn it was running on OS X. It had an OS Xish menu bar and the check boxes seemed to be aqua-like as well. Does anyone else know anything about this?
QUOTE Thanks
