Accessing firewire drives over network
Dear all,
Apologies if this has been discussed before. I have searched and I can't find it.
I have several external volumes attached to my iMac via firewire. When I network the iMac (10.5.2) with Windows XP all of those volumes show up as shares on the Windows computer and can be accessed from it.
I have replaced my Windows computer with a Macbook Pro, also running 10.5.2
I can access all the folders on the iMac from the MBP over the network, but I cannot see the firewire drives.
Is there a way to enable sharing of these drives over the network?

Go to System Preferences - Sharing and select File Sharing. In the folders shared click on the small plus and browse to a folder on the drive.
